Traditional Scotch-Brite abrasive products are constructed from particles of irregular-shaped abrasive materials, such as aluminum oxide, bound to a nylon web.
In new Scotch-Brite Rapid Cut Wheels, conventional abrasive particles have been replaced by our proprietary precision-shaped grain. As these uniform, microreplicated structures wear, they fracture to form sharp points and edges.
