Which pad is right for you?

Square Pads, also called square cartridges, are an aggressive product used for weld removal applications on inside corners where resin fiber discs and flap discs cannot reach. Square Pads are an excellent product choice to be used in ID (inner diameter) tube polishing. Similar to cartridge roll, the cotton backing cloth of the abrasive is designed to break down during use revealing the next layer of abrasive. As the breakdown process occurs, it exposes new sharp

                          grains to continue the even finishing process.

5 Point Pads are very similar to square pads, although they are usually thinner, resulting in a much faster cut rate. Because of the thinner design, their flexibility makes it much easier to get into those difficult areas. Five point pads are an excellent choice for both ID and OD applications.

Cross Pads are less aggressive than square pads and are generally used for deburring, flash removal, and metal surface finishing tasks. They are less aggressive because they are more flexible. The added flexibility makes them ideally suited to deburring tubes and any other internal diameters.
