New Cutting and Polishing Wheels

"New" 3M Wheels
Fast Cut / Longer Life
Cubitron 11 Technology

What does this mean for you?
Fast, easy deburring
The added cutting power and consistency of 3M precision-shaped grain lets you breeze through a wide range of tough deburring applications – faster than ever before! The conformability of its fiber web makes it easier for operators to apply just the right amount of pressure, so there’s less chance of over-cutting or damaging the part.
Fast, easy weld blending
The faster cutting action, smooth feel and outstanding control of Scotch-Brite Rapid Cut Wheels makes them ideal for weld blending. Saves time with faster cutting, fewer tool changes. Bottom line? Easier for operators to use – improved productivity for your shop.
Race to the finish
What gives Scotch-Brite Rapid Cut wheels their super-fast cutting action?
Traditional Scotch-Brite abrasive products are constructed from particles of irregular-shaped abrasive materials, such as aluminum oxide, bound to a nylon web.
In new Scotch-Brite Rapid Cut Wheels, conventional abrasive particles have been replaced by our proprietary precision-shaped grain. As these uniform, microreplicated structures wear, they fracture to form sharp points and edges. The result is a wheel that stays consistently sharp longer, and cuts up to 3× faster than the next-best competitive wheel – while retaining the smooth feel and control you expect from Scotch-Brite abrasives.
Here are just a few of the challenging applications where Scotch-BriteRapid Cut Wheels really outperform the competition:

90° Weld Blending

Blend the weld faster than ever before and leave a consistent finish behind.

I.D. and O.D. Weld Blending

Reach awkward spaces with the number of available sizes, densities and grades.

Heavy Deburring of Pipe Threads and Turbines

Remove the burrs faster without damaging the parts.
